Your inputs may be used to improve our AI models and the overall quality of mnemonic generation for the community. We also use data to analyze performance, provide support, and prevent abuse.

Certain information, like your public profile and public flashcard sets, may be visible to other users. We may disclose information to service providers who process data on our behalf, to comply with legal requests, or in connection with a business merger or sale.

You can opt out of marketing communications through your account settings. You can also manage the visibility of your sets and review, edit, or delete the content you create. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings menu.
5. How Long We Retain Your Personal Information
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to fulfill our business purposes. Please note: Mnemonics generated by our AI based on your content are retained in our database indefinitely for the benefit of the learning community and service improvement, even after your account or the original set is deleted, unless specifically removed by an administrator. Non-personal, de-identified, or aggregated information may also be retained indefinitely.
6. How We Secure Your Personal Information
We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access or destruction. However, no internet transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Monic is intended for users age 13 and over. For users under the age of consent in their jurisdiction, we provide a restricted experience with limited data collection and features. We seek parental consent where required by law.
8. Jurisdictional Rights
Depending on where you reside (e.g., EEA, UK, Switzerland, California), you may have specific rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, rectify, or erase your data. We comply with applicable privacy laws including GDPR and CCPA.
